Certainly, WinZip doesn't do it. You should be able to unpack it with the tar program. I've only used the GN= U=20 tar program on it, but BSD tar should work too (I've untarred a .tar.gz wit= h=20 it). The name should probably end it .tar.gz, not .tar.tar.
