Ah, I was behind in my reading. Thank you for

Well. What you mean is that write= rs who write Lojban use Latin, or Tengwar, or Cyrillic orthography. (Lojban= itself is a language, and languages don't use anything.)

As for your second point, I think that what you mean is that the standa= rd Lojban orthography tends to make use of the capitalization and punctuati= on common in Latin typography in a different way than other languages do.
Except of course that some people use acute vowels instead of capital v= owels for anomalous stress,
=A0
Insofar as Lojban is concerned, {la.mari,=E1n.} and {la.mari,An.} are = the same thing. {la.mari,An.} is much more common, as "A" is easi= er to type. (On standard U.S. keyboard, for instance, "A" is <= shift>+a, "=E1" is <alt>+<numpad 0,2,2,5>.)
=A0
and some people use guillemets, =
=A0
I've never seen that used in actual writing.
=A0
and some people use question mar= ks and exclamation marks.
=A0
I've never seen that used in actual writing.
=A0
At least that's what people = are saying.
=A0
No, people are saying they *can* be. Not that they *are*<= /em>.
=A0
But those are variations of Lati= n typographic conventions used to write the language.
=A0
Those are non-standard conventions, yes.
