This is really obnoxious, as Michael seems content to do whatever he is going to do anyway, which some will like and some won't; I fail to see how 100s of emails about it does anything but annoy. I do think there is room for discussion about how/if to use quotation marks and the like, but Michael seems to not want to participate in this, and I think any discussion about such issues should be divorced from this one publication.
