I have always unde= rstood {-gau} to mean that some agent does the {-} bit while {-ri'a} me= ans that some agent merely causes {-} to happen, not necessarily having a p= art in the activity of {-}.

That comes out as:

"x1 knows that (something) is a method for x2 to be brought about"= ;

> What would {ko'a jungau ko'e ko'i ko'o ko'u} be in= English?

"x1 tells/makes known to x2 fact(s) x3 (du'u) about subject = x4 by
epistemology x5."

Lujvo ending in -gau are very regular, they normally mean x1 makes
(whatever the other part is) happen.
