I need Wine to run it, and I don't drink.

I have QCad, which saves it as a DXF file. It doesn't do SVG, but if an= y of
you have CAD programs you should be able to read it. It can also export to<= br> bitmap formats. Anyone who can read DXF, please let me know.

I know nothing about 3D animation software, don't have Adobe Illu= strator, and
don't speak Maya.

What I'm doing is planning out the whole city so that you guys who know= how to
draw buildings in 3D can make something consistent with the city layout. I<= br> won't have much time to work on it till next week. So far I have the ou= tline
of one strip, divided into eight sections, the three highways around the cylinder, and the main axial street.

Some planning questions:
I think that the middle of the three cingular highways should be wider than=
the other two, as it's connecting the downtowns. I also think that the = axial
road should be wider in the downtown. How wide should these streets be, and=
how wide should their rights-of-way be?
What size should blocks be in the downtown, in the com/res areas, and in th= e
suburbs? Should there be various lot sizes in the suburbs? Are there big factories, spanning multiple blocks and abandoning the streets in them,
downtown?
Do lots have side setbacks, or do buildings abut?

I forgot to mention my belief that = the streets should be designed optimally for said travel forms, while still= enabling motorized travel in the event such is necessary, such as when hau= ling goods.
