I will admit that {cu} in every bridi is more a personal pet-peeve than anything else. I find it distasteful/lazy. My real point is that all terminators should be taught along with their corresponding tag/ gadri. The only way to really reinforce memorisation is through use. I'll have to ask, but I wonder if it aids in reading comprehension. Do students that learn to use {cu} early on rely upon {cu} to identify the selbri? Do students that don't learn {cu} learn to identify the selbri more easily?
