If I heard someone say "and 'bratan' comes from barda and tanxe" I would assume that "tan" was the rafsi form of tanxe. I'd probably even use it in the future in other lujvo. But, names are names and can be whatever. So, whatever floats your boat, just don't be surprised when you get lots of questions about just what a {garna snanu} is.
