If you wanted to in fact say they would be the attacked, not the attacker, you could either reverse it, "ko bregau lo bagyce'a bilni lo nu se gunta" or (warning: not standard lojban, but I assert it would still be understood) mark it with an explicit ce'u, as you would do with ka, "ko bregau lo bagyce'a bilni lo nu gunta ce'u").
