I am relatively new, so I'm sure there are plenty of mistakes (particularly relating to tenses/event contours on some of the more complex sentences). I also had to make up a few lujvo (e.g. narseljukpa for "raw" in the sense of "uncooked"). Please feel free to leave comments if you notice a mistake or just a bad translation. Anyway, I think we might want to set some standards for Lojban on Tatoeba. I know that you can have multiple translations, however I think that in many cases we should try to avoid it. Here are the things I can think of: - Periods. I have not used them except for {.I}, only because I think it looks nicer, and the rules are really not that hard to follow. If everyone else thinks we should use them for things like {.oi} and {la djan.}, then I'll change my sentences. - {ti noi broda} vs. {lo vi broda} (and same with ta/va and tu/vu). So far, I have created two translations for each sentence like this, which you are allowed and encouraged to do. However, if the community thinks one is significantly better than the other, I will change them. - {lo} vs. {le}. Yes, I know, xorlo. However, remod uses {le} a lot more than I do. I think it would be kind of silly to have multiple translations with just different gadri. mu'o mi'e zif On Nov 17, 12:11=A0pm, rdent...@gmail.com wrote: > Lojban has been added to tatoeba! > > http://tatoeba.org/eng/sentences/show_all_in/jbo/none/none/indifferent > > And Zifre is the current leader of Lojban contributors!!! > > > > > > > > ---------- Forwarded message ---------- > From: rdent...@gmail.com > Date: > Subject: Re: Re: New language: lojban > To: Trang HO > > CC: > > > Thanks a lot Trang!!! > > > On , Trang HO tr...@tatoeba.fr> wrote: > > > Hello, > > > > Lojban has finally been added :) > > > >http://tatoeba.org/eng/sentences/show_all_in/jbo/none/none/indifferent > > > > Sorry it took so long!
