The other problem is that of scope: if we have to do a series of DeMorgans to decipher what is wanted, the length of a feasible string is going to be reduced considerably. So it would be best to consider the connectives as being between atomic elements and all be 'e' based. But then there is the problem of things that you don't care about one way or the other (so, an occasional 'u') and thing that you definitely want (at least) one of though don't much care which.
