Well, we're talking about less than 12 people, so it tends to be pretty loose. Generally we just get together in a room and do whatever we feel like. :) I'd like to have may be a *bit* more structure. > It is something I understand and am engaged by, but I caveat that > I have a specific stack of things I'm interested in talking about, > and that format would allow me a platform for doing so. > > Reviewing the memory of my notes (alas, they aren't in front of > me) conference planning suggest we'd need at least two rooms, a > break room with food/water and misc discussion/checking out and a > topic room for focused and engaged conversation constrained by a > timebox. > > I don't have a sense for the minimum number of people needed to > make something like this effective, but my sense is that as we > approach or cross that lower bound having an SF convention around > us would allow a release for the kind of drain a small participant > count would incur. Which means, Lojbanistan, that I need you to > come to jbonunsla and save me from that fate! You seem to know more about this than I do. Perhaps *you* should organize it. :) FWIW, the reason I was talking about the SF Bay Area is that we have 4 of us in easy proximity. Given the number of people we're talking about, that's pretty overwhelmingly compelling; I'm aware of no other part of the world with that many. -Robin -- http://singinst.org/ : Our last, best hope for a fantastic future.
