I'm a decent ASL signer, and my wife is fluent (she has a masters degree from Gallaudet University in Special Education of Multiply Handicapped/Hearing Impaired), and we have lots of deaf friends. But it seems to me that any sign language grammar has to be spatially oriented, and really wouldn't be related to lojban any more than ASL is to English (i.e., not at all), nor would it be advantageous to do so. --gejyspa On Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 5:56 PM, .arpis. wrote: > Has there been any thought with regards to a sign language based on or > influenced by lojban? > > If any work has been done, would someone kindly point me in the right > direction? > > -- > mu'o mi'e .arpis. > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "lojban" group. > To post to this group, send email to lojban@googlegroups.com. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > lojban+unsubscribe@googlegroups.com. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/lojban?hl=en. > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "lojban" group.
