Right, "manci" goes with "selspaji" and "selmanci" with "spaji". It doesn't make much difference here anyway since "lo nu broda" and "lo nu se broda" are the same event. > My > reasoning to provide that hint is that when one says {u'e} it is > surprised. "ue" is surprise, "u'e" is wonder. >> The "bolci" of 4 down was confusing to me, I don't associate any >> bolci-ness with that. > Isn't a {plise} round? That's how I finally figured it was plise anyway. >> mu'o mi'e xorxes > While I'm at that. I never understood why you don't say {mi'e xorxes > mu'o} since, in my mind, nothing should follow {mu'o}. "mu'o" is in COI, so it will normally be followed by the name of the person you are talking to or by another COI, as in "mu'o mi'e". It doesn't matter much in a written context, but in a radio context where you are taking turns to talk, if you just end with "mu'o" your interlocutor can't be completely certain that you have already finished (with an elided "do'u"), or whether you will still be saying a name, so "mu'o do'u" would be safer. mu'o mi'e xorxes --=20 You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "= lojban" group.
