(And every time I've played, they've ended, Robin ;-) I even have two kids who are interested in plyaing (unfortunately, they don't speak lojban). I'll play. I think this has been proposed before, but I've never seen it come to fruition. P.S. My favorite session we had a rule (dubbed the Gramm-Rudman Bill ( see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gramm-Rudman-Hollings_Balanced_Budget_Act ))whereby if the set of mutable rules ever exceeded the number allowed, then rules would be repealed randomly (each rule receiving an equal chance of repeal) until they fell below the limit. And then some idiot proposed dropping the limit to 10 mutable rules (we had about 23 at the time), and the other idiots at the table voted it in, triggering a flurry of automatic repeals. Things like turn sequence got repealed before the rule-repealing rule got repealed, but luckily judgment rule stayed, so we were able to judicially decide how to proceed.... --gejyspa On Tue, May 17, 2011 at 2:53 PM, Alex Rozenshteyn wrote: > doi robin xu do pu zgana la .nomik. poi simsa la'o gy Fantasy Rules > Committee gy gi'e jinvi lo mintu > > > On Tue, May 17, 2011 at 2:17 PM, Robin Lee Powell < > rlpowell@digitalkingdom.org> wrote: > >> On Tue, May 17, 2011 at 02:04:34PM -0400, .arpis. wrote: >> > pe'i tu'a la nomic zdile je cinri fi'o nu kelci bau ke'a la lojban >> > .iji'a mi kanpe lo nu lo nu kelci kei sidju mi tu'a lo xagze'a >> > cilre be fi la lojban >> > >> > I feel like Nomic would be fun and interesting to play in lojban, >> > and I think that playing would help me better learn lojban. >> > >> > xu da noi ma gau selci'i lo nu kelci >> > >> > Is anyone interested in playing? >> >> pi so'a la .nomik. poi mi pu sanji cu no roi se fanmo gi'e mutce >> dukse lo ka pluja .i mi na nelci .i ku'i mi cinri da'i va'o le nu >> da'i do finti lo javni poi nibli lo nu tordu gi'e sampu .i .ia ru'e >> lo nu cunso vimcu pa javni pa roi ro jeftu cu sidju mu'a >> >> Almost all of the nomics I have see never end and are extremely >> over-complicated. you can come up with a rule system that keeps it short and simple.
Perha= ps a rule like "every week we delete a random rule" would
