The point I really wanted to make though, is that I think the thing to do when doing this is not to focus on arithmetic at all at first. believe it or not, it's not that central to a wide class of problems. If I were working on a project like this, my take would be to make it more prolog-like. in case you're not familiar, prolog, like lojban, is based on predicate logic. It looks something like this: footmassage(zed,mia). kills(marcellus,X) :- footmassage(X,mia). dead(X) :- kills(_,X). (the document I initially used to learn some of the language used these characters, and I thought it was fun.) The above encodes a knowledge database, upon which queries could then be run: dead(Who). > Who = zed.
