That is an ancient proposal. It sounds interesting. Whatever happened to it? I can see in my copy of the cll that it didn't get adopted yet it seems to be getting use in the real world. Guess I'll just keep in mind that sometimes people will say gi'e and sometimes they'll say gije. Likewise for ge vs jegi. Unless someone tries to redefine ge/gi'e is there really any collision between the two usages anyway?
