Assuming that following discussion shows it to be a real problem, or if there is no further discussion, please make a note at http://www.lojban.org/tiki/BPFK+Section%3A+Formal+Grammar I'm honestly not sure which encodes better Lojban, but my feeling is with Mantycore, that we want the pu to only cover the kalte.
