I must confess I stop reading those threads very quickly.

The real problem I have is that they always fail to come to a
conclusion. The discussion drags on and on but in the end it does not
contribute to a better understanding of the Language. At least for me,
I've not seen any summary of the outcome of those discussions.

The other problem is that I think they might give to newcomers the
impression that Lojban is ill defined, while the topic that is
discussed is very often an obscure corner of the language that never
pops up in real usage.

I suggest to create a new list called "lojban-theory" where those=
discussion would happen. I know we have far too many mailing lists but
I really fear that giving the (very wrong) impression that Lojban is
still in flux could turn away new comers.

Also having all this high level theoretical discussions in one place
might help someone to extract a sense from them and contribute with
some new understanding of Lojban.
