Hi Arie,

the problem with using English words to explain the pronunciation of 
Lojban vowels is that there are so many different English accents. A 
more reliable way is to list possible IPA values for each vowel, for 
example [o] and [ɔ] for Lojban {o}. (in fact, even lip rounding doesn't 
matter in Lojban, nor does vowel length, so you have quite a bit of 
freedom and the two listed pronunciations are not the only possible 
ones, though they are the most common ones by far)
