Anyway ... I a new Moleskine watercolor sketchbook too ... did a sketch on it yesterday but haven't watercolored it yet ... Not sure I like the perforated edges: it's nice that you can make the page into a postcard, but it does get in the way if you're trying to do a sketch spanning the 2 pages ... Also, wish the paper was less textured. I'll let you know how it goes with the watercoloring like to first make my sketches with pencil, then with ink pens, and only then the watercolours.Im using rotring xonox graphic pigment ink pen of various sizes, but, sometimes, the ink seems not really waterproof when i start my watercolours. Can someone advise me on a really lightfast and waterproof black ink pen for sketching, that works impeccable with watercolours? Pentel color brush. and is happy with the line and the brush feeling BUTthe ink is not waterproof so which pen can I get with the same(or better) brush feeling and with waterproof ink? and where on the internet can I order it.
