As JohnnyB will tell you there is lots of wonderful hiking and views around the park but personally I am kind of over the experience the main roads provide and the new emphasis on ticketing photographers for viewing bears from their cars is not real appealing. To each his own. Nice photo though. beautiful images Greg I especially like the Salt Creek shot and the exceptional combining of elements in the Rialto sunset. I'm sure you paid the bird well to place himself in just the right spot as the Sun touched that sea stack. :D I'm going to have to go up again as I have somehow missed Salt Creek on both my previous visits. And you are right, there IS a lot there. Sorry for the slow response Steve. Been away a couple of days. No, we didn't make it to Cape Flattery. We probably should have done that rather than trips to the Rain Forest and Hurricane Ridge, which weren't particularly productive in terms of photography. It's humbling in a new area when suddenly one doesn't know what's where. I'll appreciate YNP and the Tetons for the rest of the summer not having to learn new locations.
