I have never had a bad meal in the more than dozen time I have dined here. Food has always been good and the service is usually pretty good as well. The... You might doubt that you have found the right place - when we drove into the tiny downtown of El Rito, we passed this small, humble-looking restaurant even... What an unexpected surprise. Arriving in the parking lot and seeing the local police and sheriffs were eating there, I knew this place must be good. The waitress was great. Ambience was way better than what I expected from the outside and the place is very very clean. Thus, from an experience stand point... Truly good Mexican food in the heart of Tennessee. With chile rellenos and mole on the menu, I knew this was going to be in the spirit of authenticity......
