My gf ran a half marathon so that brought us to beautiful Ellicottville, NY and this seemed to be the gem of that downtown area.....The space is huge and... Ate here just an hour ago. I miss it already. But let's begin by clarifying that I did not pay for this meal. My brother brought our mother and myself here... It comes as an astonishment to me that this place is only sitting at 3.5 stars on here. Granted, we dined here on a Monday night during the offseason, but... Best in Ellicottville for sure and they treat me like family every time I'm there.....Pesto pizza is an all time favorite, the shrimp scampi is... Eh. It's ok. Wouldn't survive in the city but they serve passable steaks in a town devoid of streak houses. We were able to walk in on a crappy raining... Skied with friends on a Friday at holiday valley. Closed out ski resort and went looking for food after. ....Visited half a dozen restaurants \u0026 pubs to find... Just finished a wonderful dinner. The ambience is wonderful if you like antiques. Most of these are for sale...The only negative I had was my drink; I... I'm not even sure where to start but phenomenal! Shelly's service and drink concoctions were AMAZING! My husband and I both ordered the filet mignon meal... Beautiful, Southern Living lodge decor and upscale dining on Main!....This restaurant is beautiful! It is decorated throughout the way Southern Living would... I drove 30 min to this restaurant, sounded like a good choice while visiting the area. The food was so delicious... We got biscuits w apple butter, which I... Always fresh and delicious. Great Italian food and the service staff always friendly. Never disappointed with anything. Excellent for take out, if you so... Delicious and full of thoughtful details! We stopped in here for lunch based on a recommendation from friends, and we are so glad we did! ....I really... Mom wanted to go for her birthday, which happened to be a Sunday and since they are only open until 7, we went at 530ish. The place was pretty empty and we... September outing..Our group of six was lunching..All tummies happy....A great place with a gracious host. Joe introduced himself and explained all the sauces... Awesome food...The soup was amazing. They had a great option for the non-carnavor types also.....Definitely coming back. You gotta try the ketchup! I know that's an odd thing say first thing in a review but man...that was the best ketchup ever. I'd order fries just to hold... Delicious!
