You get a point for every dollar you spend, with change $.50 and over rounding up.  You can then use those points to redeem for things like chips, cookies, sandwiches, salads, etc.  A couple of points about it:

1)  You can swipe the card to get points immediately, but REGISTER THE CARD SOON!  I can't tell you how many people I have seen just swipe the card and never bother to register it, either online or with the toll free number.  You are simply losing points when you don't register the card, because your points are associated with an account.  You get bonus offers when you register, and 50 points just for registering.  Swipe the card without registering?  May as well not even have the card.

2)  Subway has tiers-not-tiers of sandwiches.  Basically certain sandwiches cost more points (a steak sandwich costs more points than a ham sandwich), and they're labeled as tiers, but Subway has technically said that there are no more tiers.  And this information is not readily available... when Subway first promoted the new rewards program, they only said a 6 inch sandwich cost 50 points to redeem, which is true of the cheaper sandwiches.  But the ones like the Steak & Cheese or the Chicken Bacon Ranch cost 65 points to redeem, and Subway I feel wasn't entirely honest about this (the point cost different was not listed in their informational packets).  Frankly I'm amazed I haven't had anyone yell at me about this. If you will collect 10 points then you will get one cookie

With every 15 points you get 1 bag of chips

With 20 points you get 21 oz fountain drink

And for 25 points you get 30 oz fountain drink

With 25 points you get bag of apple slices

30 points will get you Bottled Beverage of 8oz, 15.2oz and 20 oz

30 points may also get you Coffee of 12 oz and 16 oz

35 points will get you 6” breakfast sandwich (from any carrier)

With 50 points you can get 6” sandwich in any varieties except those which you can get with 65 points.

65 points will also get you 6” sandwich in any of the following varieties:-

SUBWAY Club®, Carved Turkey, Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki, Rotisserie-Style Chicken, Steak & Cheese, Chicken & Bacon Ranch Melt, Roast Beef

With 75 points you will get Footlong Breakfast Sandwich.

75 points can get you Footlong sandwich in all varieties except those which you can get with 100 points or chopped salad.

100 points Footlong sandwich in any of these varieties Steak & Cheese, Roast Beef, SUBWAY Club®, Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki, Rotisserie-Style Chicken, Chicken & Bacon Ranch Melt, Carved Turkey

If you have additional 15 points then you can turn any of your 6” sandwich or foot long sandwich into a deluxe one.

With extra 20 points you will be able to add up Extra Cheese, Double Meat, or Bacon to any sandwich variety except the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki, Roast Beef , Steak & Cheese, Chicken & Bacon Ranch Melt, SUBWAY Club
