Honestly couldn't ask for more...Definitely going to become a regular here!... We were told to come here for the best fish sandwiches in Valdez.....I had one of the best fish sandwiches of my life here! I'm not a fan of tarter sauce but... This is a must stop if you are visiting Valdez, Alaska. Right across from the harbor with a friendly comedic staff and delicious hot food, it will warm you... The English muffin breakfast sandwich was SO GOOD! This is my second time visiting Valdez, I really wish I can't here last time. ....Good was great, staff was... We asked locals for restaurant recommendations and fortunately was told about Mike's. Though it's an Italian restaurant we tried it because we were told... We went from Gakona to see Worthington glacier and after the hike and walk around the area we got pretty hungry...we realizes that Valdez is a decent sized... So yeah, the food takes forever. I mean like, forever. Like maybe they were out of ingredients and had to drive to Anchorage and back before they could... This place is real Valdez, and has been around for years. We were there for lunch again in June. My salmon was perfectly prepared, and my salad was fresh,... Good fish and chips. The fries left room for improvement, but for a quick bite of fried goodness, is worth another visit. The fried shrimp was tasty and... I've been in a few times with my wife.
