YUM!! We stopped on our way from Lakeside to Spokane and are so glad we did! Delicious burgers! I had an awesome patty melt with sweet potato fries, yum!!... Best place to eat in Hot Springs. I came for lunch and watched an employee go outside and sweep! Rah! I truly dislike walking through a sea of cigarette butts when I approach a restaurant.... Tasty cheeseburgers and pancakes and bacon and sausage. Cozy seating in booths and friendly staff. Very reasonable prices and delicious french vanilla coffee. Ok where do you go when its 90 degrees out and want to relive your childhood? The Union Dairy of course. This is the real deal. From the neon signs outside... This is where God would eat if he lived in Freeport. Everything is always exactly how it should be. Just the fact that this place is 24 hrs on weekends is awesome in itself. Not many places stay open that late in Freeport. ....I had an omelet with homemade... I dearly love Maria's Pizza. So much so that when I lived in Sycamore I would pick up pizza on the way back home after visiting my family - just to eat it... I go to Happy Wok every time I'm in town.
