Rolled through town on my way to Nashville and figured I'd give this place a shot. I didn't necessarily have high hopes because I can be a little picky... Perfect mix of history and food.....When in Lynchburg, Miss Mary Bobo's is a must. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but Mary Bobo's was a site unto itself.... Awesome place, pretty classy.. Sides were very well prepared.... Granny Fishes is a real hidden gem. The One Who Loves Kids And Dogs has lived in the area since 1980, and though Granny Fishes apparently opened in 1984,... A staple when I visit, and a place I take everyone! I don't think a visit to middle tennessee is complete without a visit here. ....Miller's Grocery is tucked... Totally worth the drive from the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Especially loved dessert (which I rarely take!!!). I would recommend if there was... To begin, fresh baked bread with maple, sea salt butter was fantastic. Second was a petite salad with a perfect topping is seeds and golden raisins. ....For... A delicious evening! The first was with a group of 4, this time with a group of 22. Both times the service was excellent, the food was delicious... Well this was a pleasant surprise/find while we are in Cooperstown. Small with an outdoor patio, but very warm and friendly. They had 10 beers on top when...
