This is my new breakfast on way to Alpena Don't pass this gem up because of the outside appearance. Not only do you get a beautiful inside remodel but you get excellent service and great food. We... Stopped in for a late lunch on snowy April Saturday. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I had a Patty Melt and Fries. My sister had a personal pizza.... This place is excellent. Perfect blend of small town appeal and delicious (and almost too reasonably priced) fare. ..Have hit this place up a few times on... It's a tradition for my group to stop at this place when we head up north. The morning we wake up we head over and pretty much fill up the tiny location.... Most retirees end up some place nice and warm, giving their kids a fun and exciting place to visit..... my parents moved up north instead.......We frequent... We were traveling from Jersey to Georgia and needed food late at night at a safe location. This place was typical Mexican food... One of the few remaining Shoney's around. When you first walk in the door they have all their different cuts of steaks to look at, they... This place was so delicious. I highly recommend trying it!!! Appetizers were very good- fired green tomatoes and fried bacon avocado! The blackened fish... My husband and I have always had a great experience at Lonesome Dove Western Bistro.
