My God was I blown away with this spot!! So many amazing things to say I don't even know where to start.....The location: even though it's a bit hidden away... We have stopped in twice now within a week as we are having some work done in Smith Center, ks. On our EXCEL 5th wheel.....The owner and the staff are very... Stayed in the motel next door and stopped here with my grandma on our way out of town. We always search for little local diners and this place did not... This place has been around forever and I could've sworn it used to be called the Sacramento Club, but my wife said it's always been called the Speakeasy.... We stayed at a hotel across from The Station. On Saturday night we had supper there. The food was great and the people working there were awesome. Small... Have to say this is now my favorite restaurant in the local area. The Prime Rib was amazing and the other Steaks are also Great. I will be coming back... Great chicken fried steak. The club sandwich was delicious. The service was on point. I will be back. Really good Mexican food - they actually use spices - they must be a new restaurant - not typical Midwest bland food. Worth the stop for sure. I'm back in Holdrege to a great welcome. But I also made a mistake in this review earlier. Shauna Stevens owns the pub. She welcomed me back with open arms... This is a lovely and unique restaurant. We loved the eclectic decor and the fairy like garden. Since it was hot we opted to sit inside though the garden... I found the business listing and reviews for the Trinidad Eatery on Yelp - and it sounded like a good place to try out for breakfast! I was staying just to... This location is kind of out there and very popular! Small building and very busy. The food was fresh and local. ....What makes this place so popular is the... Couldn't decide what to ordered so we ordered appetizers; crab cake, scallops, cajun prawn \u0026 the cheese/hummus plate. Everything was delicious! It was just... Love love love this property. Historical, quaint, gorgeous location and cuisine that will satisfy the most discerning of foodies. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The standouts were the carpaccio and the oysters. The bread was also great. The stuffed calamari was.nice and the bacon... While we enjoyed an icy cold beer and a perfectly prepared Old-Fashioned, the proprietor told us people travel 60 miles for the ribs, that they book a room... This has to be the best restaurant in Eureka and if I am wrong only by a few inches !!! ....First very humanistic and warm welcome... the kind that put you at...
