Overnighting in Lone Pine and needed some yummy food so we walked to Merry Go Round. Super happy we did. ..What a fun quirky... What a terrific restaurant with great service. ....First, for you single travelers like me, there IS a bar, and a nice one. Here's the treasure map -- it's in... A rare restaurant of quality thats a nice departure from the hillbilly meat+3's and chain restaurant drudgery that dominate this burg of gnats, humidity,... Food was good not great but really for the area and price is why I give this 5 stars. Had the redfish with green beans. Salad was well done with almonds... Without a doubt the BEST restaurant in 100 miles! We are from NYC and happened upon this restaurant by recommendation-..It will not disappoint! Came here... So being from the Gulf Coast I love good seafood however I am extremely selective as to which seafood restaurants I will frequent...With that being said you... After a long day of travel, it was lovely to stretch our legs walking around downtown Eufaula. We window browsed all the restaurants in the neighborhood and... This is a must on our way to the beach everytime! My go to is the country fried steak. They cook the okra perfectly! The dressing is just like my mom's....
