(People) ??? Chrissy Metz is contractually obligated to reduce in order to keep her role on "This Is Us". How she does it is completely up to her. She has steadily been losing since she was cast as Kate Pearson, one of the "big three" siblings on the hit show. There isn't an exact number in her contract. Producers left the requirement "open ended" in order to allow Chrissy's character to evolve as she does in real life.
