It did not make any difference. All fluids are OK. It needs an oil change but that should not be the cause of this issue. I don't think it is a brake issue because the grinding noise happens even when the car is fully stopped and I rotate the steering wheel left or right. Yep, this should be very obvious to a tech inspecting the car. Definitely sounds related to the exhaust system. Could be a loose heat shield, exhaust touching metal somewhere or a broken baffle inside the muffler. With the car in the air, they should be able to reproduce the noise easily.
