Had their food at a festival a month or so ago and have been in their restaurant 5 or 6 times since then. The people are friendly and go above and beyond... Good beer selection but not a lot of German biers on draught, but no worries. Their selection of beers hits the mark of everything, not too many IPAs,... What separates good bbq from excellent bbq? The little things. I tried both the pulled pork and turkey sandwich.....The turkey was sliced thin, piled high,... Went wine tasting near Apple Hill.. And decided to eat here, heard they had good food... Food was delicious! Had the special that night, Prime rib,... Yelp reservation worked well. Love the reminder and the fact you can put what special occasion it is. ....We sat in the cellar which is really cool. Nice... The name of this place reminds me of a lodge type restaurant and bar with animal heads on the walls and awesome comfort food. The name alone made me assume... My all time favorite sushi place! Friendly staff and always quality! Fresh and amazing! Love Kim and Jenny! Excellent, helpful staff. They helped us navigate to the less well known regions of apple hill before we had even decided to stay for food and... Drove straight to the Heydey Cafe from the Sacramento Airport, and I have to say, it was well worth the 45 minute drive. I ordered the lobster bisque and... Very comfortable vibe, kind of felt at home. Ordered the classic burger, side Caesar, and a side of truffled mac and cheese. Don't worry- I was sharing .... After coming home from Lake Tahoe one year, I passed the place and bookmarked it because well, pizza. Second time around, my friends and I were able to try... Very impressed!
