I rule that the existing Board has been reelected. Board members, I will shortly convene for officer election. > Following Board election, we will take up any old business followed by > new business. Is there any old business that anyone wishes to discuss. Other than byfy and Pierre's committee, I am not sure what topics belong in this category. Per my earlier posting, discussion of the 25th anniversary celebration is also in order, even though it is new business. Should LLG be supporting this organizationally? I haven't seen any evidence that you wish to do so (as opposed to individual support like Pierre and myself saying that we plan to attend). BTW, I owe an apology to Tommy Whitlock and Dave Barton (and possibly others) who are local to the DC area and therefore can easily attend a DC area gathering, as banseljaj has proposed. I also notice that banseljaj is calling for a midweek gathering (jan 2-3), which probably cuts the possible attendance significantly. If LLG is organizationally supporting this, we can reasonably ask that it be scheduled on a weekend so that more can attend. If banseljaj is doing this himself, he can do it any time that he wants. (Getting hotel space on a weekend is probably a little harder though, especially when we wait longer to get started.) lojbab -- Bob LeChevalier lojbab@lojban.org www.lojban.org President and Founder, The Logical Language Group, Inc. _______________________________________________ Llg-members mailing list Llg-members@lojban.org http://mail.lojban.org/mailman/listinfo/llg-members
