I don't know of anyone who has won IW/Miami/Madrid/Beijing in the calendar year Discuss players who you think could pull this off. and what kind of accomplishment this could mean. I personally think this could be an amazing career achievement. 2012 Vika, Radwanska, Serena, Vika 2013 Sharapova, Serena, Serena, Serena 2014 Penneta, Serena, Sharapova, In answer to your question, no one is that dominant to win them all now. Serena could have (probably would have) in 2013 but for the IW boycott, but she won't be that dominant next year or the year after. This feat would obviously be less than a calendar year grand slam, but more than winning a single slam, in my opinion. That being said, the arbitrary difference between a PM and a P5 is bull. I get IW and Miami because of the 96 player draws, but why should Madrid be PM while Rome is P5, or Beijing PM while Tokyo/Wuhan is P5. Meanwhile, neither Cincinnati nor Toronto/Montreal is PM. I would add one more tourney to the PM/5 level (e.g., Sydney, Eastbourne, Charleston, Stanford, Dubai, Stuttgart) and then require top players to pay in at least 7 of them.
