With no objections, all of the above are now members.

Nominations for the Board are now open.  Of the existing Board, Veijo =

and Arnt have asked to be withdrawn from the candidates for the Board.

That leaves:

Robin may also wish to drop from the Board, but I will not presume this; =

I am quite sure that he does not wish to continue as =

Secretary/Treasurer.  But it'd be nice to retain institutional memory =

other than myself and Timo, given my frequent health lapses.

I have seen the following volunteer and thereby indicate their candidacy:

Ali Sajid Imami
And Rosta
Craig Daniel
Riley Martinez-Lynch

Others can be nominated, but their willingness would have to be confirmed.

I personally would like to see gleki volunteer, by virtue of his =

demonstrated leadership on the mailing list and in the online social =

network community.  I also want to note that Ali was instrumental in =

organizing the 25th anniversary LogFest last year, and Riley has done a =

lot of work to get the Minutes caught up to date.  These are both =

activities of the sort that we need Board members to undertake.

I will let nominations continue until end of day Wednesday 12/17.

At this point, I am the only candidate living in Virginia, and hence =

would be re-elected without a vote to fill that slot.
