Do you think that the LLG should be well informed of Lojbanic
activities in non-English-speakers' comminities? I am aware of some
fruitful activities in Chinese communities and Japanese ones:
- people in mainland China is creating a standard for lojbanizing pinyin;
- there was a Lojban meetup in Hong Kong (it may be well known to the
LLG because of an English announcement on the Facebook);
- one of the Japanese communities is creating a gismu list sorted by
the importance in their own culture.

Possibly there are such activities in the Pakistani comminuty that Ali
mentioned. Although I have a Pakistani friend who is learning Lojban
alone with Wavelessons, I have no way to get full access to the
Pakistani community. As for the Russian community, we have la gleki
who have a full access to it.

In my impression, the Lojban communities in different languages are
isolated from each other. It seems to me that the regular members on
IRC regard themselves as the only active speakers of Lojban, creating
their own dialect. However, I think they should know there are much
more Lojban speakers in the world, who are not on IRC, using the
standard Lojban with Wavelessons, and even those who use the old
traditional CLL-Lojban without knowing xorlo.

I would like to break the isolation between the Lojban communities so
that any Lojban speakers in the world can profit fruits of other
Lojban communities. It would be nice if reporters who has a full
access to the communities are appointed, with or without pay, required
to make reports about the fruits of the communities to be inserted to
a periodical (may be annual) in English and/or in Lojban (bilingual is
desirable). Among the reporters, there should be one of the regular
members on IRC who are required to make an understandable report about
their dialect.
