I had the \"Eye Opener\" which is corned beef hash top with a poached egg on top of an english muffin. That and some damn good... Foods pretty good here. We get breakfast more often than dinner or lunch but it's all pretty good. Never had a problem here and we always leave satisfied. We went twice. Both times the service was very fast, but it also wasn't busy. The first time was excellent. The second time the food was so so. Edible, but... How can you beat Fred's???? What a great place and a great atmosphere. But what was better was the food. First, you start with the bread and the homemade,... We go here a lot and have never had bad food or a bad experience with the staff. Always good food. Always hot food. Always great staff. Very nice place only a mile from the state park. Clean with a good menu selection. I had the salmon and my wife had the south beach pizza. All very good. We went on a Wednesday night for beers and open mic night. There were only two performers and a few other people but the bartender was awesome. Good fast...
