I generally don't have a problem with it, but 1) it is best dealt with by posing it as a point of inquiry or a point of privilege or a point of privilege (people can look those phrases up if not sure what fits each), and thus giving me an opening as chair to moderate it, or ask that it be delayed to a specific time; 2) best avoided right just now, when I am trying hard to get the excessively delayed meeting back on track. We're not all that far from starting old business, and byfy and its activities/ responsibilities is probably the main Old business topic. I did support some stuff being discussed in advance of the Board election that normally would come later or outside the meeting, but that was because the stuff to be discussed was things some might wish to consider in a Board election. I tried to frame my response to your post specifically towards the issues that might affect a Board election as well. lojbab _______________________________________________ Llg-members mailing list Llg-members@lojban.org http://mail.lojban.org/mailman/listinfo/llg-members
