OK. but that information does not change my conclusion because the
directory /extensions is a subdirectory of your personal directory.

I don't require removing the tools. Only depriving you of the control
on those tools.
Unofficial contents and tools should include information about the
responsibility. I personally don't think it is not necessary to remove
the unofficial things as long as the responsibility is clear to the
users, but that should be decided by the official body, not by you.
