A FAMILY AFFAIR.....Saturday afternoon - craving seafood. Drive to Belmont, or try something local? I chose to try a \"new\" place nearby. Tex's Fish Camp had... Make sure to get reservations, as this place is small but believe me it's worth the effort and wait!  Best Japanese food in town, and the only authentic... Searching for some food and this place popped up as off of the next exit on the 40. We stopped and couldn't be more happy about it.  We were just going to... Upscale dining with great ambiance and creative cuisine......This was the old location for Yousef 242 but reopened sometime last year as Care Rule with... Stopped in on Labor Day evening - open and had the best service/beer/dinner! only one bartender/waiter and was so impressed with everything! less than 10... Amazing menu!  Excellent food, service and ambiance. A repurposed old factory building transformed into the coolest restaurant and brewpub scene in Hickory.... First the beer - never been disappointed. I love Death By Hops, one of my favorite. Their Table Rock Pale Ale is also one not to miss.....The food - always... Environment = Awesome..Food Presentation = Awesome..Cleanliness = Awesome..Waitress = Awesome..Food = It evaporated while being awesome! My girlfriend and I took her Mother here on Mother's Day because it used to be a favorite place of hers with her late husband. The ambiance was wonderful... So Tom's Tavern popped up on my Facebook feed. I saw it was in Kempton and had no clue where that was. I end up finding out it was only 17 miles from me.... Great food and beautiful interior.
