Traveling on business I have the opportunity to try many restaurants around the country. ..Some good, some bad and some just ordinary. Clementine is none of... Booked the Forest for a lunch for 110 people - the food and service were great - Al took great care of us - thanks so much :) Just ducked-in @ Madame (Roberts) Hulin's Yellow Bowl for a mid afternoon snack of fried tails, potato salad, \u0026 etouffee des ecrivisses.....Magnificent, comme... We have eaten here a few times since their one block move to larger quarters on the bayou side park.....Excellent food quality, fresh offerings, REAL Cajun,... I am from Ohio and my wife is from New Iberia.  Every time I travel to Louisiana, I have to go to Duffy's Diner.  The fried catfish basket is the best... Gumbo was AMAZING. Loved the po-boy. Not the prettiest place but the food was just right Nothing screams local as much as victors. This place is pure louisana. Older ladies and their friends. Rough looking Rnecks. Normal business people types.... Great variety of southern food! Everything is always extremely fresh. Staff is extremely friendly and offered quick service. Pick up your crap and your kids and go!..Seriously, pick it up and go. ..i think they're ALWAYS busy at night so try to go a little early. We recently came... Not the typical tourist trap restaurant that often is the norm for these types of communities...They offer good fresh food with locally made beer. (Menu... The only reference point I have for Turkuaz is Anatolia. I ordered different items at each restaurant, so I don't have an apples-to-apples comparison. But,... Top notch food. It's is consistently great. Try the eggs benedict, it's sooooooooooooo good! Everything on the menu is made to be the best. We can hardly wait to go back. Unfortunately they don't have things our kids would eat, so we'll have to wait for date night--that's the only downside....
