Not long ago, my buddy Mike went to grab his cellphone when he noticed a few missed calls from his mother and a text message that simply said...

"Please call me as soon as you can"

Sensing something was wrong, he called back right away, and when he did...he received the terrible news:

His grandmother, a huge part of his childhood and like a second mother to him, had not only had a massive heart attack a few hours before...

...after arriving at the intensive care unit, she literally died twice on the stretcher before the doctors and nurses were finally able to get her stabilized.

As with almost every heart attack sufferer, there's a good chance she never even expected such a horrible experience to happen to her.

And like most, she probably assumed that if it did, she'd only know it by a little numbness in her arm or a sudden jolt of pain in her chest.

But guess what?

Stopped by Crooked Pint for the Sunday night football game. The setup of this restaurant/bar provides for great viewing of sporting events. The location... I'd heard a lot about the brunch here so finally decided to come check it out. This place is clearly popular on weekends but they have plenty of seating.... This is really good pizza.  The New York crust was a little thicker than what I would classify as New York, but it was tasty.  Lots of cheese and fresh... I enjoyed the spicy salmon and spicy tuna rolls! It would've been nice to have free refills on pop instead of being given a can though. I've been here 2 years in a row on my birthday now and I don't think I'll try any other hibachi place in town. The chefs are so much fun and entertaining.... This has quickly become my go-to mcdonald's in town. I come here for breakfast and the food is always hot and fresh. Skip the burgers... TRY THE CHICKEN!!  seriously - even in sandwich form their chicken is amazing! and the popcorn is really good too... ....More bar than... My wife and I have been ordering sweet-and-sour pork and roast pork fried rice when our schedules were hectic and time was scarce to prepare our dinners.... First time visiting Broadway Pizza in a few years and I feel like we picked the correct night. My wife and I decided to stop in for a late dinner and grab a... What a nice place to have dinner in the center of town. The food here was excellent, lamb, veal, wine, cheese, crepe, and salad. Honestly one of the best... Crepes are delicious. Never would I have thought of them as dinner food! This is a special restaurant. It was once a hotel from 1513. Crazy to think that... Lovely small restaurant and one of my faves in Clermont. Typical local Auvergnate food. I ate here twice during my stay in Clermont and really truly enjoyed... In Clermont for a business trip and it required to stay over an additional night. Searched for Seafood in the area close to our hotel. This great find was... Slightly above average sushi but expensive for North American tastes. I had dinner here a few times during my stay in Clermont. We sat outside on their... AMAZING LUNCH, I had the Chicken fajita burrito for lunch today. Someone suggested I come here today, I can not lie I was a bit hesitant after reading some... Reminds me of LA. Fantastic tacos. The best I have had in a long time. Definitely coming back Went there on Yelp's recommendation for Sunday brunch. Wait wasn't long. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. This place is outstanding. From chips to their simple but famous red and green sauce, L\u0026J Caf\u00e9 has it all. Authentic Mexican food, a warm atmosphere and... I eat here at least once a week.  I am NEVER disappointed! ....Speaking Spanish is helpful some days as not all of the waitresses speak English.....You can see... Pretty much the best mexican food I've had anywhere. The al pastor is something beyond amazing here and highly recommend that. Only complaint is its a bit... My co-worker and I were in El Paso, and we came here for business dinner. ..I don't drink, but others got Margarita, and they seemed to be enjoyed it. ..I... Ate here one time when we were visiting The El Paso area.Our Friends took us to this place.This place is really nice you can order your tacos up front and...
