Broad Street Grill is a great place to stop for lunch. The burgers and sandwiches are fantastic, the fries are fresh and the draft beer selection is pretty... Compadres is owned and run by Hispanics. The decor is definitely what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. There are some unique murals on the walls.... We got the bill and laughed.....Two Pints..1 order of wings, must have been at least a dozen about large size...Seafood dip, tasty and great portion...Meatloaf... Outstanding. We stopped here on a drive from Mcgregor to Iowa City and Yelp showed us the way. I grew up in Iowa but never knew about Elkader's connection... I love to drive up to Wisconsin whenever I get the chance, even if it's just for one night. But when it's just for one night, that puts extra pressure on... Burger is Amazing....mic drop. Better than any other burger I've had in Iowa. The owner is friendly and staff attentive. Well worth the drive if you are... I haven't been a fan of Chinese food until I tried their beef and broccoli. The restaurant is usually pretty empty and quiet. It's worth a shot! Rustic setting. Friendly service. Delicious fresh food. Highly recommend the veggie burrito. Also, the chips and salsa is amazing. Stopped here after a long 8 mile hike at Effigy Mounds, the reviews were good \u0026 we kept our fingers crossed they were right - they were! This place was... This place has the best Rueben of all time. Generous serving of corned beef and thousand island dressing. Crispy toast. Mmmmm...the Reuben is my favorite... Favorite stop when visiting Prairie du Chien. Bar food fair as expected by the river, however they do a very good job with their preparation. Had the Hand... I always have so much fun when I visit!
