Let me make some comments on your comments. As for the symbolism, I anticipated that a part of the audience will be puzzled by the pictures, but I hoped that the sound only is enough to understand the scenes. Some people enjoy finding the meaning of pictures, and other people are puzzled by them: I think it is one of general properties of artworks. As for the words "culturally biased", the character blamed only the experimental selma'o, not the official Lojban. No matter whether an English word contains glottal stops inside, the grammatical structure of those experimental selma'o in question relies on a property of a target string of the structure that it does not contain a glottal stop. Such a structure necessarily excludes some languages from being a target of it. By the way, good news: Vimeo finally listed "Lojban" option among subtitles! Accordingly, I have just fixed the subtitles names: "Lojban" option shows Lojban dialects as spoken in the film; "Lojban CC" option shows translation into the official Lojban. mi'e la guskant _______________________________________________ Llg-members mailing list Llg-members@lojban.org http://mail.lojban.org/mailman/listinfo/llg-members
