A great place on the way from Virginia to NY. ..Smoked salmon as a starter was fantastic as well as a chocolate pudding for a desert.  Absolutely worth... Awesome food. The fried chicken was cooked to perfection and was not greasy. The folks at the place were very friendly. My wife forgot her purse and they... We always stay here, We discovered the Charlotte by accident. Stayed at many ..hotels in the area before...Don't waste your time staying anywhere else, Trust... I had the coconut shrimp for lunch. It was delicious and the French fries where fresh and hot. All of the food was very good but the portions were small. I drive from NY to the Tidewater e few times a year, and El Maguey is one of the highlights of that 9 hour drive. After stopping in for the first time in... BEST CRAB SOUP IN THE WORLD!!! My mom and I go on road trips and we end up here every time just for the crab soup. This time we stopped by they didn't have... Mallards is a wonderful, sleepy, small-town place to visit if you're just passing through - and I highly recommend passing through while you're on your way... the food was very good and made to the region they came from in mexico ,i order the enchiladas with tacos excellent.. I  read a few reviews about this place... Good American, fresh food in an unassuming atmosphere.  The service was great.  The parking lot was loaded with cars from Virginia, so you know the food... Simply epic. I won't spoil too much of the experience for you, so just go yourself because you will not be let down. And get the cornbread.....Our waiter was... This is a great little restaurant with a lot of character--log walls, fireplace, German decorations ie. nutcrackers and beer mugs etc.. Try to go when the... I am so glad we decided to check out that place!..Driving around the small-town areas can mean eating at those sticky little diners with deep fried... A meal that would cost 200 dollars in NYC for a quarter of the price.  I am still amazed. I met a friend for dinner here and came away very impressed with the food and service. The Mill Street Grill had a thorough menu, including a separate... Second trip and just as good as the first!  We live about 2 hours away and look for a reason to get here while in town for baseball tournaments or driving... My husband \u0026 I enjoyed our New Year's dinner here recently. Everything from the restaurant itself, to the food \u0026 wine list, and service was excellent. With... Amazing. We stayed here for our anniversary and it was fantastic. The food was superb and they even accommodated our dietary restrictions (vegan/gluten... Very nice place for lunch and dinner. We've taken out of towners there and they were quite pleased.
