Meetings Quest in Atlantic Ci=
ty Meetings Quest—the nation’s longest-running series of educat= ional and networking events for meeting planners—has announced its su= pport for the second annual Global Meetings Industry Day, which is being ce= lebrated April 6 in Africa, Europe and North America. Led by the U.S. Trave= l Association’s Meetings Mean Business Coalition, Global Meetings Ind= ustry Day aims to shine a light on the real impact that meetings and events= have on businesses, economies and communities. On April 6, meeting professionals, association chapters, corporations, d= estinations and other supporters will hold events around the world to suppo= rt this day of advocacy. Events include rallies, press conferences, speaker= panels, educational events, award presentations and proclamations. Local c= hapters of industry organizations and other industry-related companies and = partners are encouraged to organize or attend events; engage with local ele= cted officials and business leaders; participate in online conversations; a= nd spread the word through their social media networks. When Meetings Quest is held at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in At= lantic City, New Jersey, June 28–29, it will reinforce the same princ= iples upon which Global Meetings Industry Day was founded. Hosted by Meet A= C and presented by Association News, Meetings Quest will include a= n Opening Celebration on the iconic Atlantic City Boardwalk, a half-day of = hot-topic educational programming featuring expert presenters, a luncheon w= ith a keynote speaker and an afternoon appointment-based expo.
