Well, the good news is that Lojban isn't prematurely advertised in this
epoch (which could damage its reputation).

However, the lack of appropriate information about Lojban can be seen as a
negative advertisement as well. And this should be fixed, IMO.

People often learn about Lojban from using search engines (after finding
this name in other locations) so improving the content of most popular
links provided by search engines is crucial in making people participate in
Lojban development.

For several years I've been slowly fixing the Wikipedia page on Lojban:
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Lojban&oldid=716191798

It had statements unproven by links, irrelevant statements (like "there is
no Firefox plugin for Lojban because of problems with Javascript") etc.

I added a lot of information supported by links leading to the current
state of affairs.

Still among most important places Wikibooks de facto lacks a good textbook
on Lojban or even a shortened version of its grammar.
This is still a place to be improved.

Some hundred people joined Lojban Slack chatroom but most of those who
joined are existing members of the community.

Facebook Lojban group itself with its ~2000 members is a showcase of
Lojbanistan by itself in this social network.

Extending IRC gateways to other networks like Skype, Facebook messenger,
Gitter is yet to be analyzed whether it's needed or not.


As of new presence I can mention http://lojbo.org/ website done by one of
newcomers

I fixed CSS styles for https://www.reddit.com/r/lojban so that it
(hopefully) looks prettier now compared to the original reddit style (if
you have any suggestions for the style I can try implementing them although
I left the crew of admins once my initial work was done)
