Excellent food and service, great local restaurant with outstanding New Mexican cuisine. Thank God this place exists in Raton! The other offerings are sooooo disappointing. I came across this gem on yelp and it is a must try! ....I had a build... Our family of eight had dinner here on a Saturday night.  We were pleasantly surprised!  We generally don't have good experiences with hotel restaurants but... 4 stars almost entirely based on authentic (or close to it) mexican food done right. ..Mediocre ambiance at best but the fact its just a side area at a... Yes, the building could use some work, yes the service could be faster. Now that we have that out of the way, the food is excellent. Take a look at where... Just my opinion but Oasis is by far the best place to eat in Raton! The waiters are all very nice and friendly and the service is fast! On top of these... This was an  incredible restaurant. So glad to have found it!  We stopped for a quick lunch and knew that we would be back for  Sunday Brunch. We had a... Excellent green chili cheese burger.
