Met up with Yelper Is= obel L. for a lovely DineLA Italian lunch on a Friday at 11:30am. This is= my second time back here for DineLA and it was delicious! A great meal dea= l without breaking the bank. After browsing through the DineLA Lunch Menu = $20 (Starter + Entr=C3=83=C2=A9e + Dessert) here's what we got: DRINKS Chil= led water automatically served upon seating. The water comes in a huge gla= ss bottle and so we never had to worry about getting it refilled or going t= hirsty. Isobel got herself a glass of Rose while waiting for me to arrive = (I, later got myself Prosecco when we had DineLA dinner at Providence). CO= MPLIMENTARY BREAD The small basket of sourdough bread was soft and chewy on= the inside, while staying crispy and fresh on the outside. The bread is d= elicious on its own too. I poured some oil olive and balsamic vinegar toge= ther for dipping. The balsamic vinegar had a nice, sweet acidic taste to i= t, while the oil olive had a gentler and milder taste. I ended up dipping = the bread more into the balsamic vinegar. They also had a spicy red vinega= r, but I didn't touch that. FIRST COURSE Burratina Con Impasto di Pomodori= ni: We both got the same starter entr=C3=83=C2=A9e. The buttermilk mozzare= lla was a generous portion and I loved how buttery and creamy it tasted, es= pecially, when eaten together with the tomato and spinach spreads underneat= h. The tomato spread tasted sweeter and the spinach spread tasted a bit sa= ltier. Nonetheless, I adored both spreads. Garnished with some olives and= drizzled with olive oil and dashes of salt and pepper, an excellent starte= r to start off with. SECOND COURSE Gnocchi Bolognese: I loved this dish! T= he handmade potato gnocchi were so plump, pillow-y and hearty! With each bi= te, I loved smushing it down inside my mouth, lol! The beef Bolognese sauce= was indulgent and super comforting. The minced ground beef and tomato sau= ce was thick and robust tasting. Topped with two teaspoons full of Parmesa= n cheese, happiness in a plate! Spaghetti alla Moringa Pesto Siciliano: Iso= bel got this vegetarian dish. I sampled a outweigh little bit o= f her pesto spaghetti and it was really good. The pesto sauce was aromatic= and flavorful. The spicy organic Khorosan moringa spaghetti tasted al-den= te and a good generous portion as well. DESSERT Chocolate Mousse: Comes in= a little to go cup (with a plastic spoon) in case you're too full = equilibriums or need to head back to the office asap! The chocolate mousse w= as light, sweet and really chocolaty. Garnished with strawberry slices and= a mint leave, a delightful 3pm work snack for me. I actually liked this o= ne better than the Tiramisu. Service: Our dishes came out pretty quickly, = which dispassionate allowed us to enjoy our food before the lunch crowd arri= ved. Both our main server and the lady that served us our meals were frien= dly and professional. Our server checked in with us periodically to see ho= w the food was and if we needed anything else before he tended to the rest = of his tables. Service was great.=20 ------=_Part_19_1736642875.1570290738405 Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable =20 =20 =20 =20
